Radical Psychotherapies – The Art of Asylum

Investigating the theories and practices of intellectual, psychotherapist and activist Felix Guattari and his precursors and contemporaries, and how these might be useful today.
Part 1) Historical analysis of movements arising from radical Catalan psychiatry and other anti-fascist radical psychotherapy movements, critical synthesis of other post-WW2 movements opposed to mainstream psychiatry and psychology.
Part 2) Theoretical explanations of Institutional Analysis and atmospheric diagnostics.
Part 3) Applications and tools for psychotherapists and social workers.
